Our daughter was first operated on by Mr Giuliani when she was just 2 days old. This was not planned and a bit of a shock to say the least! However, having met Mr G, we were very reassured, as we knew she was in the very best hands. We have seen Mr G many times over the last few years for further operations, and general consultations. Our first impressions have definitely been proved correct. He is at the forefront of his field, and keen to use the latest research to improve the long-term management of our daughter's condition. Furthermore, we are (probably) not the easiest parents to deal with, yet he has always been very happy to take the time to answer the myriad of questions - big or small - that we ask. She is now just about to turn 3 and is absolutely thriving. This is in no small part down to the excellent care we have received from Mr Giuliani and his team. Thank you!

Dr. Giuliani performed an inguinal hernia repair on our 2 year old son. The operation went without any complications, and our son recovered very fast. Dr. Giuliani was very kind and reassuring throughout. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Mr Giuliani operated on our nervous 15 year old girl. He explained everything to her at a level that she could understand. He listened to her concerns and accommodated her commitments at school (exams and sporting commitments) which was important to her. He also was flexible around appointments for us and his PA, Helen was great at arranging that and gave us all the information we needed. I felt I could call her about anything if I needed information. The only negative was communications with the hospital.. arranging appointments with The Portland was complicated but we got there in the end. Thank you the both Mr G and Helen !

Dr Giuliani was fantastic with our 3 year old son. He put us all at ease, he was very professional and spoke to us in terms that we could understand. Surgery was scheduled very quickly and went exteremly well. Thank you for your great care.

We researched few doctors when planning our Son's next operation when he was 2 months old. He had his first surgery at only 1 days old in a surprise diagnosis after birth. Although he had a great care at RLH where he had his first operation we wanted to be sure of the success of his future operations which are complex and varying. To us this meant finding the right surgeon. We were looking for a surgeon who has excellent surgical skills with appropriate practical experience but also combined with the specialist theoretical knowledge and we decided to go with Mr Giuliania and we are very pleased to be with him since. Mr Giuliani took over our Son's case and triangulated his diagnosis from multiple angles including linking other specialists when needed to ensure best possible treatment. Our son then had his surgery with Mr. Giuliani at the Portland Hospital and is recovering well. We are preparing for his next Surgery which we are also going to Plan with Mr Giuliani. Mr Giuliani is a great Surgeon and from our first visit to him he explained his approach in detail and made us feel comfortable. In addition there are a lot of aspects that would keep one nervous before or after the treatment like in our case where our case continues. However Mr. Giuliani is very approachable and kept us comfortable and assured by his quick responses and planning. We chose the Portland Hospital but we believe that he will provide the same level of care regardless of location of where he operates.
